- I grew up swimming in Puget Sound and buying CD's and coffee at Easy Street Records, bagels at a place called Zatz and getting apple juice and breadsticks from the farmers market behind Northwest Art And Frame. I ate veggie potstickers at Shanghai Gardens in the International District and kebabs and rice and hummus at Ephesus of Seattle and doughnuts from the tiny stand at Pike Place Market. For thirteen years, I didn't miss a single Torchlight Parade and every Christmas I got my picture taken at Holiday Lane in The Bon Marché until it became Macy*s. I've been a shop girl and a Derby girl, an artist and an author, a babysitter and a tutor, a waitress and singer. I'm a daughter, sister, girlfriend, best friend, lover, cousin, surrogate aunt, grand daughter, and niece. I'm Irish, Italian, Scottish, French, English and Viking. I'm adopted, as well as a child of divorce. I'm a concert-going, roadtrip-loving flight risk with a manic-depressive cat and a 1988 Volvo wagon. I've studied over a dozen religions, as well as Italian, French and Latin, and have met some of the most amazing people around. I am just one of nearly seven billion humanoids on Earth. I am me.
